Terms and conditions
- Promoter. The Velvet Grove, ABN 78 487 736 092, Hills District NSW ("Promoter"). Contact: joanne@thevelvetgrove.com.au.
- Promotional period. Entries open 9:00am AEDT Wednesday 28 October 2026 and close 11:59pm AEDT Wednesday 25 November 2026. Entries received outside this period are invalid.
- Eligibility. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 or over who have a wedding, elopement or commitment ceremony planned between 1 December 2026 and 31 December 2027. Employees and immediate family of the Promoter are not eligible.
- How to enter. Complete the entry form on this page, including an answer of 25 words or less to the question "Why does your pup deserve to be Pup of Honour?". Entry is free. Limit of one entry per person. If more than one entry is received from the same email address, only the first entry received will be judged. Entries must be the entrant's own original work.
- Game of skill. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will be judged by the Promoter on 26 November 2026 at the Promoter's premises on creativity, warmth and originality. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prize. One prize of a custom Pup of Honour floral set for the winner's dog, designed to the winner's wedding colours and handcrafted by the Promoter, valued at $200 (RRP, incl. GST), including free delivery within Australia. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
- Winner notification. The winner will be notified by email and announced on the Promoter's Instagram account @thevelvetgrove by Monday 30 November 2026. The winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim the prize, providing their wedding colours, delivery address and pup's measurements. If the prize is not claimed, the next best entry will be selected.
- Delivery. The Promoter will agree a delivery date with the winner so the set arrives before the wedding. For weddings within 4 weeks of the prize being claimed, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours but cannot guarantee delivery in time.
- Publicity. Where an entrant has ticked the box agreeing to it, the Promoter may share their answer and pup's name on social media. The winner may be asked, but is not required, to share photos of their pup wearing the prize.
- Privacy. Personal information is collected to run this promotion and, with the entrant's consent, to send emails from The Velvet Grove. Entrants can unsubscribe at any time. Information is handled in line with the Promoter's privacy policy and is not sold to third parties.
- Social media. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Meta.
- General. The Promoter may disqualify entries that are incomplete, offensive or do not comply with these terms. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss arising from this promotion, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
